MUTAFY
Identify structures of mutant and wildtype human proteins
This website is free and open to all users and there is no login requirement
Mutafy is a webserver to identify experimentally solved mutant and wild-type human protein structures from the Protein Data Bank (PDB). In brief, Mutafy takes a list of HGNC gene symbols as input and will
- identify all associated protein structures available in the PDB
- identify mutations and and wild-type structures with respect to the canonical sequence from Uniprot
- retrieve the AlphaFold predicted structure is an experimentally solved structure of the wild-type could not be found in the PDB
- use ClinVar to annotate the variants with clinical relevant information about the identified mutant proteins
- rank the structures by quality and % of solved amino acids
- make the results available via on line interactive tables and the structures downloadable with a click
- email summary results to the user
Please visit the tutorial section for detailed instructions about how to use Mutify and a description of the outputs
